I wouldn't tell it straight its better this way;

I don't like waking up early in the morning.
That's what i did today and I can't get back to sleep.

I have nothing to do because everyone else is sleeping and I don't want to wake them up.
I don't have anyone to talk to because everyone is still sleeping.
It is utterly boring this early in the morning on a holiday.
